Hippo nominated for ride of the year again in Billabong XXL 2012
Following his runner up finish in the 2009 Billabong XXL awards, Far King team rider Ryan Hipwood has again being nominated in 2012 for his incredible monster barrel
paddling in on a 6'10 surfboard during the Cloudbreak swell in July 2011. Check out the incredible ride below.

Hippo vs "The Right" West Aus
Far King team rider Ryan Hipwood recently took on a not so ideal swell at "The Right" in Western Australia. Hippo survived the day with some incredible rides and some notorious wipeouts. Some of the photos from the day have been nominated in surfing Australias photo of the year competition.
